How to Make Mango Sticky Rice Thai Dessert?

Mango sticky rice is definitely the most famous dessert in Thailand. It is easy to make and fall in love with and here is the Mango sticky rice recipe.

Ingredient of Mango Sticky Rice Recipe

  • 350g of sticky rice
  • 1 can of unsweetened coconut milk
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 Tsp of salt
  • 1 Tsp rice flour
  • 4-5 of pandan leaves

How to Make Mango Sticky Rice?

  1. Washing rice with cold water until water is clear and soaking it in cold water overnight.
  2. Using straining cloth to drain water from the rice, adding 2 pandan leaves on the bottom of the pot, and steaming for 30 mins until cooked
  3. Adding ¾ of coconut milk in a pot with 3/4 cup of sugar1/4 Tsp of salt [ low heat]
  4. Adding the rest of the pandan leaves to a pot and keep stirring coconut milk until sugar melted
  5. Mixing cooked sticky rice and coconut milk together and covering it for 15 mins
  6. Making coconut milk sauce on top by using the rest of coconut milk with rice flour and a bit of salt [ low heat]
  7. Serving sticky rice and ripe mango with coconut milk on top.
